a Recorder Workshop

The Fall Fipple Flute Forum for 2026 is now over. Thank you everyone who joined us in the lovely weather at Shoreline Community College.

FFFF is a two-day recorder workshop to learn new skills, improve your ensemble prowess and immerse yourself into the music. Whether you are at the lower-intermediate level, new to ensemble playing or a seasoned, experienced player — this Recorder Workshop is sure to please.

The last FFFF was held at Shoreline Community College on Saturday and Sunday, September 26-27, 2026 with a kick-off concert on Friday, September 25.

The workshop’s Four Fabulous Female Faculty in 2026 included music director Vicki Boeckman, long-time favorite Miyo Aoki, the inimitable Rotem Gilbert, who was with us at the very first FFFF, and first-timer to FFFF, Hanneke van Proosdij. Some SRS members may remember Hanneke from the 2025 Port Townsend Early Music Workshop.

Many pleasant surprises were included in the 2026 workshop, such as a talk by recorder maker Gerry Leatherman and a wonderful lunch from Mediterranean Oasis.
